Welcome to our club! We offer rides, scenic flights, Soaring Orientation Flights, flight training, glider rentals and aerotows. Anybody is welcome to come fly with us.
Rides and Soaring Orientation Flights
Our most popular ride offering is the Soaring Orientation Flight (SOF) which offers ground instruction and an approximately 30 minute training flight around Waynesburg for $140. Also included is a temporary club membership, allowing you the ability to fly with us at standard club rates. We accept cash or check made out to Pittsburgh Soaring Association. The instruction provided in this flight may be used to pursue your glider rating.
Contact us if interested in any flights. Soaring is very weather dependent, so keep in mind the possibility of flight cancellations. For your flight we require closed tow shoes. Prepare to be outside for a fair amount of the time, so we recommend water, sunscreen, hats, etc. If you weigh over 250 pounds please let us know for weight and balance.
Flight Training
We offer flight training to those of any experience level in our Grob 103. If you are new to gliding, we recommend a SOF to get a feel of things along with temporary membership before committing to a club buy-in.

Temporary memberships are required for visiting pilots to use club ships or aerotows, please contact us for more information and pricing.
