We are a group of 40+ members operating out of the Greene County Airport (KWAY) in Waynesburg, PA. Our operating season is between April and October. Usually we fly every weekend and limited weekdays, weather permitting.
Fleet
The club owns three gliders for member use currently, with two in operation. We have a two-seat Grob 103 that is used primarily for flight training and rides, as well as the single-seat Grob 102 for rated members. The club also has a AC-4 Russia that is currently in the process of being sold. Additionally, we have one Piper Pawnee providing our aerotows.
Facilities
The club has one T hangar for our tow plane and other equipment. We have plenty of glider and trailer parking on grass, along with limited trailer parking on a gravel pad. For winter trailer storage, it is common for a club member to rent out storage in their private hangar on the field.
The club also owns a newly made flight simulator, for training or recreational use.
